Alexi Keywan wins the William Fletcher Travelling Fellowship & Rome Residency British School at Rome, April–June 2015

WFF Patron, Shane Simpson AM, with Alexi Keywan, winner of the William Fletcher Travelling Fellowship with Residency in the British School at Rome during April–June 2015. This fellowship was made possible by a bequest from Dr M (Nick) Matheson Lines, late of Mosman.

Alexi Keywan has won the William Fletcher Travelling Fellowship and Rome Residency at the British School at Rome, April–June 2015.

The other two finalists, Nicole Kelly and Agnes Tyson, were each awarded a three-week residency at Bundanon, NSW.

The announcement was made during an exhibition in the Long Room, Building 25 at the National Art School on Saturday 4 October 2014.

Besides the finalists’ work, there were some paintings by the eponymous artist, William Fletcher (1924–1983).
