NIDA Student Grants
The William Fletcher Foundation has supported NIDA students in their 3rd year of the BFA (Design for Performance) since 1999, via the tertiary grants.
From 2022, the Foundation will award a grant of $1000 to each student in their third year of the course, subject to an individual student’s work being regarded as worthy. This award recognises that the students have difficulty with working part-time, as the course requires a high degree of commitment with a full study course and extra hours involved with productions through the year.
The recipients of this award will be listed each year.
2022
Meg Anderson, Hailley Hunt, Benedict Janeczko-Taylor, Ruby Jenkins, Kathleen Kershaw, Jade McElroy and Lachlan Odgers.
Sydney Theatre Awards
Since 2009, the William Fletcher Foundation has supported the area of Stage and Costume Design at the annual Sydney Theatre Critic Awards. The commitment is currently $1000 for each of the 4 categories.
